TLOD has formed a partnership with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).
The NICHD is one of the 27 Institutes and Centers of the National Institutes of Health, the nation’s medical research agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The mission of the NICHD is to ensure that every person is born healthy and wanted, that women suffer no harmful effects from reproductive processes, and that all children have the chance to achieve their full potential for healthy and productive lives.
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) will work collaboratively with NICHD to incorporate evidence-based educational information about bullying into the Top Teens of America (TTA) program, and other activities as appropriate. These activities may include, but are not limited to, dissemination of prepared educational materials, webinars, and targeted training programs by the NICHD for TLOD leadership and TTA advisors to facilitate implementation at the local level. This initiative will be implemented in the 100+ chapters of Top Teens of America impacting 5,000+ youth. For more info, please see
